$6,000 to be awarded to local area schools
Auburn, WA (August 3, 2007) – SuperMall officials announced today the mall will award $6,000 to local area schools this fall. SuperMall drives its commitment to children’s education through Earning for Learning, formerly known as Tools for Your School, a partnership program designed to promote and support education in local school districts. Earning for Learning encourages local residents to shop at SuperMall over a five-week promotional period to earn “points,” and ultimately the chance to win cash prizes, for the school of their choice.
Now through September 10th, each dollar that customers spend can be turned into points for the school of their choice. Mondays and Tuesdays are identified as “Double-Point Days” and receipts from those select days earn the school double points. As well as with the purchase of any SuperMall gift card, shoppers can earn double points. Shoppers simply redeem their receipts for points at Guest Services, located in the Train Court, in the mall and designate their points to the school of their choice.
SuperMall will keep a tally board updated weekly at the mall with a running total of each school’s points. At the end of the contest, the top four schools will be awarded cash prizes of $2,500, $1,500, and $1,000 respectively. Shoppers have until September 10, 2007 to turn in their receipts at SuperMall.
On September 11th, winning schools will be posted at Guest Services and on www.supermall.com
Every school in the King and Pierce County area is eligible to participate in the contest and is not required to sign-up. SuperMall encourages residents to show their school spirit by participating in the Earning for Learning program and turn their shopping dollars into money for local schools.
